A very exciting opportunity to come my way and I’m thrilled to have been invited to exhibit my photography at The Ida Valley Winter Art Show📸✨
This will be held at the Oturehua Hall over Matariki weekend in July! Be sure to get along and see the awesome art on display from young artists, hand made knives, sculptures, and photography! A cool event showcasing a wide array of art from around the local and wider Otago region, look forward to seeing some familiar faces there over the weekend 😊
All art will be for sale, and there will be a people’s choice to vote for also!

This morning I received two emails say that two of my photos had received Highly Commended in The Landscape Awards 2026 hosted by Australian Photograhy and judged by a panel of judges. 📸✨
Highly Commended means that the entry was selected in the second shortlist and is of a very high standard. I am thrilled to have received two High Commended’s in a competition that received 2300 photographic entries this year, from both New Zealand and Australia! Congratulations to all the finalists and winners, some truly superb and clever photography!
These are the two photos: ‘Storm Coming, Ida Valley’ and ‘Ida Valley V. Manuherikia Valley’.
Both of these images will feature on canvas at the Ida Valley Winter Art Show being held at Oturehua Hall over Matariki weekend in July, more to come on that soon….
As always these photos are available for purchase as canvases at a size of your choice. Pm for more information if you are interested ☺️☺️

Another exciting opportunity I have had in recent times, was to be able to return this year to photograph 2026s stunning crop of Hereford Bulls at Limehills Herefords owned by Gray and Robyn Pannett. Thank you to you both for giving me this opportunity again!
As usual, they are looking fantastic and I’m looking forward to sale day on the 26th May, be sure to get along!
