Four years ago, I added wedding photography to my portfolio. I saw it as a way to combine my passion for art, having become a finalist in this year World of Wearable Arts in Wellington, with my flair for storytelling and of course the added bonus of working with my wife Jackie, a registered celebrant. The result is: stunning photographs that capture both the spirit and the small details of the day

Together we pride ourselves on the personal contact you will receive throughout your preparation and you can feel confident in the fact that it will always be me taking the photo’s on the day, and Jackie is there to ensure a relaxed, upbeat ceremony. My goal is to tell the story of your wedding, capturing the fun and emotions, translating them into beautiful fresh and modern pictures. I will document all the key moments, from the bridal preparations through to the first dance. Photography is a visual poetry, music, heart, and soul for me; it is like a very good wine and Jackie’s style is relaxed, but professional, vibrant, and creative. So just back from a fabulous weekend in Wellington for the wearable arts. As you may well know Steve and his son Conor had a piece selected from the 82  Entries from the entire world. We were quite excited on Saturday night when we received lots of texts to say they had seen his costume on the TV3 news, so have uploaded for your viewing, his is the old Tōtara post,  Their tribute to Kiwiana at its best, they even changed the music to the theme tune of “country calendar” just for his one outfit. This was the cherry on the top of our entire week, since we had a full page editorial on our wedding business in the Weekend Sun.
