But here was no rush, no stress. Just two people, completely present with close family, with time to slip through the city for portraits between moments at Hotel Britomart.

Shot on black and white film, because it suited the day — honest, elegant, and a little unexpected.

Baylys' Farm is my absolute favourite Northland venue. Just north of Paihia, you'll be able to have your ceremony on top of a cliff with panoramic views of the ocean, followed by a reception in a marquee you can make your own. In late summer, the long grass makes for beautiful sunset photos, and all year around the clifftop views and hidden beach give beautiful backdrop for your shots!
