and got married an Sunday at it was my first time here & it was incredible! What an amazing new venue, with views to die for!

I got to work with my friends and .rotorua which was a lovely relaxed start to the day.

Maddie and Ben were the sweetest, it was a pleasure to hang out with them, capturing the beginning of their forever

I always love shooting weddings at new places so I was excited when and hired me to photograph their wedding at in Pukehina. I am hoping I get to shoot at this special spot again, it is gorgeous, and right on the beach!

As I left was creating a stunning meal for everyone and a couple of days later Kate + Cody had a party to celebrate with the rest of their loved ones! What a way to celebrate!!

+ got married on Saturday at Okataina - I hadn’t been there since before Covid so it was lovely to be back!

This was the first entirely female bridal party I have had, and what a blast it was, this was also my third wedding in 3 days but, double brides was quite a treat to finish off my massive weekend!

Absolutely love that people trust me to capture their wedding days, here are a few words from Jamie + Saraya…

Let me take you back in time…. well about 4 months back anyway, when Alesha + Heath got married at the stunning Amberlee Garden Wedding Venue

Cars were a huge part of the day with the boys doing their own “entrance” once the guests had arrived also.

I was particularly excited by the food, there was a DUMPLING TRUCK AND with their epic feast as usual, all topped off with a lollie bar!

Heath built an awesome “photo box” for guests to pose the night away and everyone danced up a storm, this was such a cool day!

I don’t travel for many weddings, I try to stay within the BOP or Waikato, but when Georgia contacted me wanting me to travel to Norsewood for her wedding to Jamie, I had to say yes!
I had photographed her bridesmaid Hayley’s wedding a couple of years ago & Hayleys brothers wedding a few years before that & they are some of the most wonderful people I have met so I knew this one would be amazing too!

It was COLD! But it was a beautiful day bringing families together.

These guys are Harley Davidson mad, so of course they had to incorporate that into the day, we didn’t get a sunset but we got cool light and beautiful views so I was a happy lady!

On Saturday I was back at The Black Barn, Lake Tarawera
with and all their loved ones!

I seriously never tire of this view and do a little happy dance every time I book a new wedding there - thanks for choosing me Cara + Damian!

Instead of gorgeous golden light like I have had at weddings lately, the Valentines Day wedding of Lani & John had Mr Whippy & dancing in the rain!

Lani fully embraced the rain & her energy was infectious leading to an outdoor dancefloor full of people eating ice cream & laughing & dancing in the rain - these guys know how to throw a party!

Old Forest School was the perfect choice of venue with the ceremony taking place in the School House out of the rain, and even with some vehicle & flower hiccups nothing was going to stop this loved up couple from celebrating their love & happiness!

Jo + Toby got married on Saturday, I popped around a couple of days later to see them & Jo anxiously asked me if the photos looked ok, followed by “I just need one good one for the wall Tahlia” so, after a moment of being mildly offended, I assured her that they nailed it!

It is actually quite hard to take a bad photo of people who genuinely love each other & choose to get married in one of the most photogenic venues around these guys also chose some amazing vendors to help bring their dream day to life & it was topped off by some amazing dramatic golden light, seriously, scroll all the way through!

Ok, here I go, attempting to get better at social media posting (again...)

I'll start with some fresh ones then share from the other amazing weddings I have been a part of this season!

+ were at a wedding I photographed 6 years ago (one of my all time fave couples) so when they told me the connection, I knew this one would be a banger too!

I hadn't been to .venue for a few years but every time I am there it is even better than the last.

Finally we have our Summer back & it gave us the most perfect day 🥰 as seen in the stunner of a sunset too!

A photo from each of the weddings I was honoured to be a part of this year (minus 2).

Each of these couples have been amazing to work with & I can't wait to do it all over with a whole bunch of newlyweds in 2026!

Special shout out to all the venues that continue to recommend me to their couples & the vendors I get to hang out with that make the job extra special!

Fun fact - throughout the year I had weddings on every day of the week, including 4 Monday weddings! Saturdays were busiest still with 16 :)

I also worked with dozens of incredible businesses, multiple families every week, continued to run the Rotorua Mums In Business networking group and attended lots of other amazing business events, meeting more wonderful people every step of the way!

Incredibly grateful to everyone who trusted me with capturing/creating images for them in 2025, l get to do a job I truly love & live a life that I am really proud of because of you all, so thank you!

Kelly + Glenn were a dream to work with, I had the best day with them & their favourite people at The Black Barn, Lake Tarawera on Friday.
The weather was immaculate, the team of vendors was so so good, man this season is shaping up to be incredible yet again!
