Sam Carse & Alex Waddell (Mr and Mrs Rose ) …Thank you for having me photograph your beautiful wedding. It may not have been outdoors in the forest that we had in mind, ( due to the crazy weather ) BUT talk about a fabulous Halloween theme!!! How amazing was the indoor setting!!! And we did get to have some fun images on Sam's family farm!! (Before the rain came again lol)
Loved being a part of this enchanted day.

It was a beautiful relaxed wedding at The Lodge Pukeiti gardens. :) With chilled ambience and beautiful classical guitar playing in the background and divine food...friendly guests and a very lovely couple this wedding was just gorgeous

It was the weekend before lockdown and.... Grace and Johan got married!!! Luckily they managed to have their fun, beautiful day at the wonderful Shakespear park up in Whangapararoa (old stomping ground!!) with a small beautiful ceremony right before the world changed!! (and the sun shone!!!)
However, being in a pandemic was all very new to us and due to the fast paced changes that were occurring at the time due to the Covid-19 situation meant we couldn't take any risks at all. We therefore had to make the difficult decision of not being at this particular wedding in person…and one we were soooo looking forward to photographing ourselves!!! Instead we had the talented Tashina Smith from Tashina Narelle Photography shoot as an associate for us...so we have the fabulous task now of editing these beautiful images!!
Thank you Tashina for working with our brand brief so well to get the type of images in the spots we wanted them!!!They turned out brilliantly.
Yay!!! Great work team!!!

A beautiful wedding in our own beautiful local Pukekura Park here in New Plymouth. Hot, sunny and lots of laughs...Kelly and Matthew Penn are just a gorgeous easy-going couple with lots of love for each other. We had a blast photographing your wedding !!

What an amazing start to the wedding season!!! 11th Jan 2020 ;) Had the best time! Gorgeous Bride & Groom (Kellie & Nick Spencer) ..Beautiful families...beautiful friends...great vendors...perfect weather...awesome location....just everything was fantastic!!!

It's with a heavy heart that we write this..

In February we banded together with other local businesses to give Larissa the big day she dreamt of marrying the love of her life.

But over the weekend we got the very sad news that Larissa had passed away after her battle with breast cancer.

Larissa, you are an inspiration with your fighting spirit and beautiful heart. You will be dearly missed.

Our love and condolences go out to Stevie, Yvonne and all the family. 💖

A photo shoot with this amazing woman ( Rose Haskell - Celebrant ) is never dull we tell you lol. She is a fabulous celebrant here in Taranaki...kind, sincere, great at what she does and funny!!! (just what we at Wild at Heart photography LOOOVEEEE) So working with her when we have had the chance (and many more to come) is always a hoot.
