My name is Joanna Pittwood and I am a part-time photographer based in New Plymouth. I have been photographing on-and-off for the last 10 years - mainly in nightclubs and at special events such as engagement parties and work functions. I love engaging with my clients and leaving them with some brilliant photos and smiles on their faces.

lucy&you was brought out from retirement last night and I am buzzing! Chloe and Ryan... where do I start? You two are such a hilarious, kind, resilient and open hearted couple. I absolutely loved celebrating you and your families last night and feel so lucky to call you both friends. And my goodness we are surrounded by some awesome humans aren't we - you ALL know how to party! 🥰

What a beautiful wedding to see out the end of lucy&you. I have truly cherished celebrating love with each and every one of the couples I have been so lucky to photograph and work alongside but its time to put the cameras down and focus on my other career and mumming 💖

Koron and Damien Powell ❤

Yesterday was so bittersweet for me as Koron and Damien were my last wedding of the season but boy did we have fun! They were showered with not only rain (totally good luck) but a whole lot of love - those speeches by your bridal party and family were absolute gold. Ever since Sam and Nicholas started dating we were all eagerly awaiting their engagement, so it is fair to say their wedding was a much anticipated occasion 🥰 These beautiful people have found their perfect matches and absolutely radiate their love and admiration for each other. Also, if having rain on your wedding day is good luck, these two were completely showered by all of the good luck possible - you may see a spot or two of rain in the pictures and boy did Sam and Nicholas embrace it all 😉 what a lovely day x

We had been patiently waiting for yesterday for over a couple of years now after first meeting up in Jan of 2019 and oh my goodness yesterday was SO well worth the wait! Portia and Jordan, you guys are such an amazing couple and I am so glad that I get to meet and hang out with such beautiful souls. Chelsea and Ethan Bilderbeck ❤

Chels and Eths wedding yesterday was an absolute treat, its so easy to have a great time when you're surrounded by such a tight-knit and caring (as well as hilarious) group of friends and family. These two people are so special to me and like Bayley and Alex, it is epic to now be able to call you each other's husband and wife now - we've all grown up so much! Its hard to express how much it means to me to be able to capture some of my best friends weddings this season, I feel so so lucky. Love you guys!
