Podcast episode on WĀ-HINE now LIVE on all the major 🎙️🎧🔉podcast players, including Apple, Spotify, Youtube.

Ngā mihi nui .co for creating this space and presenting an opportunity to reflect on life learnings, insights and giving a platform to share my vision.

In convo with Sandra, it is so evident to experience her immense grounded presence and awe inspiring wisdom, navigating as a mana wahine interview host.

Sandra is a business coach, mentor, and wā-hine Māori who also grew up in our home town of Waitara. One of the threads we organically interweave is about my experience of capturing an exhibition portrait of her beautiful māmā, the late Matehuirua Limmer as part of a commissioned series of trailblazing Taranaki Wāhine who were influential in reviving the ancient cultural practise of carrying moko kauae and how this paved the way for other Wāhine.

Sandra describes her podcast series as "Celebrating Wā-hine in business who are carving their own path with intention, courage and vision. This is a space for honest kōrero about building a business that reflects your identify, your values, and the legacy your creating"

Cultural narratives aerial commission for Taranaki Iwi...
Congrats to Te Kāhui o Taranaki Iwi on a very warm and successful AGM event where we as uri descendants each received this beautifully designed and presented AGM book.

Drizzly, gumboots type conditions didn’t deter whānau from attending the annual event at Te Pae Pae o Te Raukura Marae, Parihaka where insights were shared by the Board about achievements, milestones, financial investments, housing, grants and more, followed by a beautiful banquet.

This aerial view is one I was commissioned to capture as part of a collection for TKOTI. Featuring on the cover is snow capped Taranaki Maunga, Pouakai Maunga to the left with the Hangataahua awa Stoney river, Ōkato.

If you see the printed version at the Taranaki Iwi tari office or the online version (see link in post shared here from TKOTI) you'll see the rest of this scene wraps around to the back cover revealing Kaitake Maunga and the curving coastline.

🌱Ko te pukapuka e whakanuia nei tērā tau pūtea me hōna hua mai 🌱

The digital copy of our Annual Report for the 2024–2025 financial year is now live and ready for you to view or download 📲

We also have a limited number of printed copies available at the office 🧡
