This is the kind of maternity photography I absolutely LOVE creating. 🤎

The contrast of colours, the rich earthy tones against that beautiful deep green dress, the textures of the rocks and the way everything just comes together.

I'm really drawn to locations that are a little different. Somewhere with character, incredible textures, beautiful light and colours that make an image stand out.

I'm so keen to get out and discover more amazing locations around Nelson and Tasman and get a little more creative with my maternity sessions!

There’s something about seeing yourself in your wedding dress on your actual wedding day that just hits differently.

The dress you’ve tried on before suddenly isn’t just a dress anymore.

Your hair is done.

Your makeup is finished.

The day you’ve been planning is finally here.

And then you catch that first glimpse of yourself in the mirror and think…

I’m actually getting married.

It’s such a small moment in the timeline of a wedding day, but one that deserves to be captured.

You don’t realise how quickly you’ll forget just how tiny they were. 🤍

The little fingers wrapped around yours.
Those tiny toes.

The way their whole hand barely fits around one of your fingers.

In those newborn weeks, you think you’ll remember every little detail forever.

But they grow. So ridiculously fast.

And one day, these photographs become more than just beautiful pictures they take you straight back to a version of your baby that existed for such a tiny moment in time.

That’s why I photograph the little things. 🤍
