Another Titan has been recalled back home.

Sadly on Monday Dina decided it was time to move on from this world leaving her two human parents Anita and Doug absolutely heartbroken. ๐Ÿ’”

Dina had a wonderful 10.5 years with her family and is an exemplary example of a well cared for and loved Dobe. Strong and powerful, there wasn't much that Dina didn't think she could do if she put her mind to it.

And, like the other two elderly female Dobes I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing. Dina did things Dina's way! She did everything with a smile on her face, and that waggy tail with the little bend at the end held high. ๐Ÿพ Having had the privilege of having her behind my camera lens twice it did not take long for her to completely win over the hearts of all of us involved โค๏ธ

Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her. And for her two people, life will never be quite the same ๐Ÿ’”

Godspeed Dina, run free with the rest of the Dobermann pack up there.

Please keep her human family in your thoughts

After cancellations two weekends in a row due to atrocious weather, the weather gods finally shone down on us on Saturday morning.

It is my distinct pleasure to introduce everyone to this little heartbreaker who goes by the name Zues.

Zues is a Tibetan Spaniel, who also just happens to be one of the most ridiculously photogenic dogs I have come across recently.

He's just too cute for words isn't he??! Certainly made me smile whilst editing that's for sure!

We captured so many images and I am looking forward to working through the rest of them.

Thank you to Kate and family for making themselves available and for giving me the opportunity to photograph him. And also, a big thank you to my sister who modifies the light absolutely perfectly with the trusty reflector so I can get these images!

Hello Everyone!

Its been a very long time between posts here. Whilst Sapphire was sick over a 12 month period I probably picked up my camera twice. Photography was sidelined - I just needed to focus on her. Now that she has been gone almost 7 months I have spent just about every spare second falling back in love with photography again. I have been very quiet on this page, but actively posting on my Photo Artistry page.

A couple of weeks ago I received a message that hit close to home and I felt compelled to meet. So It is my distinct pleasure to introduce you to Dina!

Dina is an almost 10 year old Dobermann and fur kid to Anita. When you see these two together you get to witness something pretty special. As one who has had an incredible bond with a Dobermann it just brings me joy to watch.

Dina might be nearing 10, but she knows her mind, she loves her zoomies and she LOVES attention. Shes a force of nature in her own right and she is absolutely everything a Dobermann should be. On the inside, she is a big ol softie who adores her human mum and on the outside she is bulletproof. Anita's request was a simple one, she loves Dina from the tip of her nose to the tip of her undocked tail, so portrait images that could be hung on the wall were what we were looking to achieve.

Its fair to say, Dina nailed it!

On the 16th of November Sapphire made her way across the rainbow bridge.
The Kidney disease she had been fighting rapidly progressed over a period of two or so days and she just couldn't fight any longer.
My life will never be the same and I am just in pieces. She was my world and I will forever miss her.
'If love could have kept you here... you would have stayed forever' .Until we meet again my little princess.

Anzac Day 2018.

We will remember.

ANZAC

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning.
We will remember them.

A couple of weeks back I had the pleasure of meeting this guy. Corrado's zest for life and exuberance was just so refreshing. (Having an oldie myself I forget what it's like having a wipper snapper around)

It was indeed a pleasure to meet this wonderful family.

Whilst I will not be doing this often this year, you will still get to see the odd cutie patootie posted here.

Its been a little quiet over here lately. And this is the reason why!.

Three digital Artistry courses on the go plus completing my course in Canine Psychology and Training. This has left little time for much else. For that reason for the foreseeable future, the business of Photography has to take a back seat. Never fear though- I will still be around!

For those interested, two of my works are featured in here.

Happy Sunday all.

Another week done and that roll us into February! Hard to believe really!

In this week's blog I revisit a gentle giant I met at the end of last year.

One thing you learn very quickly when you begin compositing images is that- Depth of Field is not easy to replicate and have it look natural
