There’s something about nature that brings the volume down on internal overwhelm.

It’s impressive and incomprehensible. It’s healing.

Photographing it doesn’t always seem to capture its full impact. But an image like this is a reminder of how powerful these places really are when you’re standing in them.

This was taken from a helicopter above Franz Josef Glacier. Wrapped in cloud and almost completely stripped of colour. Layer upon layer of ice.

It’s the kind of piece that doesn’t demand much from you. It’s soft. Quiet. A little bit otherworldly.

A reminder to slow down.

Imagine walking past it in your home, and feeling instantly more peaceful. A beautiful addition to any space.
