hey! It’s me
it isn’t often that I step out from behind the lens, and that’s exactly how I like it :)
it seems like all the platforms these days it’s talking head videos and it had me feeling a little nostalgic for the good old days when photography was the main thing.
but - just so you know I’m a real person, I’m here for a quick re-intro
sharing a few tidying habits that have or have not improved my quality of life:
1) I used to be the kind of person with an over 6-figure number …. of unread emails in my inbox
I was influenced to change my ways
spent the past year and a half clearing said inbox each and every day
result:
has not improved my quality of life (not one bit) I stand by my earlier post (slide 3) there must be a better system of communication that doesn’t involve accumulating so much digital stufffff that needs managing
2) getting a car wash every time I fill up on fuel
I don’t remember when I started this habit, but having a clean car is a little luxury worth the spend - even in today’s economy lol
result:
high benefits to my quality of life, puts a little pep in my step - and, I just know it makes my car feel well cared for
3) keeping a sparkling clean kitchen sink
while it is true, some nights I’m too tired to clear the dishes and hubby loads them into the dishwasher
every morning after breakfast, I do the dishes and scrub the sink (the pink stuff is my go-to, please don’t tell me it’s toxic!)
result:
major quality of life improvement, a clear mind, an appreciation of the little things
your turn!!
share a few habits you’ve developed that do or do not improve your quality of life!!
