Congratulations Justine & Ian 😍 What a beautiful wedding in Foxton Beach ❤️

One of the first things I noticed at the wedding location was a sign on the wall that read, “Life is better when you’re laughing.” I thought it was cute.

As I began photographing Justine & Ian’s wedding, I couldn’t help but notice just how much these two laughed together. The little details (check out the cream horns from Viv’s Kitchen), the little moments, the big smiles, the laughter that just kept coming. ❤️

And I thought about that sign again. Because sometimes the most beautiful thing to photograph isn’t a grand gesture or a perfectly posed moment. It’s two people who genuinely enjoy being together.

Justine & Ian, I hope life gives you a million more reasons to laugh together. 🖤

My first Filipino wedding. ❤️

And honestly, I was not prepared for how welcoming everyone would be, and I was fed…. repeatedly. 😂

As a wedding photographer, this is actually quite something because we’re usually the forgotten species when the food comes out. I’ve done 8 hour wedding photography while surviving on one coffee all day. But this time, I was told to go and eat, “it’s a Filipino thing” Mary’s mum joked, “we love our food”. I wasn’t going to argue 😍

I FINALLY got to taste the wonderful The Grazey Bunch | Grazing Tables | NZ table 🤤

The food, the family, the laughter, the warmth - I loved it all ❤️.

Thank you Mary, Tony and family. Thank you for not only choosing me as your photographer but for making me feel so welcome. I hope you all enjoy your photos ❤️

For the first time ever… I think I have more colour photos in my carousel than black and white 😱 … I’ve changed 🤣
