Spring starts in just a few days, are there are already signs of it in the garden. I need to get my glasshouse finished! But winter has not finished with us yet, and there could be a good dump of snow in two days! In the meantime here are some Autumn reflections just up the road at the St Bathans Blue Lake.

Another from this series, looking toward the Oteake Conservation Area. With just the 50mm lens the composition changes just by turning a few degrees left of right. I often use a 28-85mm zoom and it is easy to default to the wider focal length and try to get everything in. Using just one prime lens brings a different discipline and process, offering up compositions that would otherwise have been missed!
