We did it, 5 years of good business 🌴

Unreal to spent this last month just reflecting on this crazy journey. Woooow, We’ve had fun. I was pretty optimistic on this wild dream but it’s honestly been way better than I expected…but

I want to share this because I think it’s cool, I celebrated 5 years of good business & my 28th birthday last week…, good food, good pals & ocean dates (sooo GOOD). I like little keepsakes so I got this ring. A dented palm tree, a reminder of all of this. I thought it would suit as my first ever logo I made on illustrator was two palm trees… I’m a bit of a palm tree guy 🤘🏽
…yes I just created a silly meaning to a ring but let me have a wholesome moment 😘

Extra love to you for enjoying this ride together, I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without you. Special shout out to my beautiful mum, cause I wouldn’t be able to do any of this, if it wasn’t for you x

There’s been a lot of talk about the elephant in the room, AI aka Big AI. I’ve taken a back seat on this one, observing & honestly I kinda love how it’s just made humans even cooler -

Its reminded me that I truly adore this job, it’s so much more than just photography for me. It’s the people, the pals I get to see, the different celebrations, they’re always so different. Each year I try to introduce more into my craft, my work ____ more meaning, more humanness. Feeling excited for the next chapter.

Couldn’t think of a better duo to share this piece with than B+H in B+W, mix of film & digital from their backyard ripper x

As we’ve officially wrapped up our final wedding of NZ’s season, can’t help but reflect back to one of my favourite celebrations. From this stunning venue, to the tasteful details & the rest, it was something beautiful. A day that truly reminded me why what we do is so important, not just the pretty stuff, your people, your celebration x
