Sunday morning missions out the back of Kerepehi.

Spotted this old place a while back and decided on the way home from a shoot I couldnโ€™t help but take photos with the DSLR. Would love to get the drone up over it soon so Iโ€™ll be the current owner for permission (I've got contract number thanks). But if you know any history of this homestead would be keen to know.

For now, made the most of the Tamron 150-600 G2 and grabbed this from the end of the road.

First game of the 2026 season photographed for the boys today, this was over in Paeroa!

After they got the season underway last weekend up in the Coromandel. The weather was classic overcast, tricky light that kept me on my toes the whole game but it was surprisingly still warm out.

Plenty of big tackles, strong carries, quick hands in the backs, and that proper hard-working grassroots rugby.

Out at Opoutere yesterday and noticed on a local noticeboard there had been comments of some silt/slash come down into the reserve and estuary after the latest storm.

With the drone on hand, I put it up to grab a few images that may help show whatโ€™s come through

Went out for a stroll with the Thames Camera Club this afternoon down at the Thames Wharf, making the most of a calm evening and a solid sunset ๐ŸŒ…

Was a good chance to slow things down, try a few different shots, and just enjoy being out with the cameras. The light came together nicely in the end, so definitely worth the drive.

Hereโ€™s a couple of very quick edits from tonight, will go through the rest properly when I get some spare time, pretty sure thereโ€™s a few more gems in there.
