She is the current 2025 NZ Wedding Photographer of the Year and was also named 2025 International Photographer of the Year at the Australian Photographic Prize.

She has also been named NZ Nature Photographer of the Year in both 2019 and 2021 with NZIPP (New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography).

A Grandmaster of Photography with NZIPP (2023) and an Associate of PSNZ, Simone continually explores new techniques to keep her creativity alive, bringing passion and enthusiasm to every aspect of her work.

Simone’s passions lie in Wedding, Nature, and Landscape Photography. This has led to unique opportunities, including the privilege of documenting the life cycle of the majestic Northern Royal Albatross on the Otago Peninsula over a two-year period.

Young people should definitely enter this year get out your phones and cameras team, cash prizes to be won
Here is 3 no filter off the phone shots from a few mornings ago, its all about being in the right place and look for good light, not too harsh sun kids that means drag Mum and Dad out in the sunrise and fish n chips on the beach for sunset for the cause 📷😉😉
