Many thanks to Moray Wilson for leading this evenings lightpainting session at the Kaiapoi River. We were very lucky that it was a calm night and it was possible to get some great reflactions off the river. It was a great evening for it, although photography in the dark can be challenging!

We're a small and friendly club (about 14 members at the moment) with a mix of ages and abilities, and a good programme mix of workshops, competitions, photowalks etc. We typically meet in the North Canterbury Coastguard rooms in Charles Street, Kaiapoi, 7:30pm on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.

Our next meeting is this coming Monday (28 April). That evening will be the results of a club competition (we have six competitions a year typically - purely optional to enter of course). Given we are a small club, it is really fun to have the opportunity to hear the judge's comments and then have the time to go back over the images again and chat about them as a group - a chance to learn from one another and understand more about each image. Perhaps there will be suggested improvements, or questions as to how they were achieved etc. Most of us find it quite a helpful process to impriove our images.

We would love to see you on Monday night to meet us.
