As the Christmas rush is over and I have shut down my computer for the year, it felt like the right time to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported Courtney Walklin Photography this year. Whether you booked a session, popped into a Pop-In, shared my work or simply followed along, it honestly means so much.
This year looked a little different for me behind the scenes, including taking on Pop-In Portraits here in Kaiapoi. After assisting Karla for four years, I’ve now stepped into running Kaiapoi Pop-Ins from my studio as part of the Eastwood Studios franchise. It’s been something new to learn and balance alongside my usual work, and a year of adapting as I go.
This year has very much felt like the end of a few eras in our family. Our eldest finished intermediate and our youngest finished preschool. Three at primary and one at high school is still a bit crazy to me. It’s been a lot of mental and emotional preparation for what’s ahead.
