Super excited to share my results from the International Pet Photography awards.
I entered 7 images to receive 2x Bronze distinction and 5 x bronze!
Fabulous comments from the judges on what they love about the image and what can be improved, such a valuable part of entering these competitions.
Thanks to all my models and of course the owners and to my own special girl Nina 💕

Winter Woolies 2026

Unleashed Education held a free challenge, Grid Games, recently.
I was lucky that at a recent session, that was held during the time period of the competition, I could use one of the images taken.
The brief for Grid games "this is all about using the rule of thirds" making the composition mostly in camera with little cropping on editing.
Two classes, new comers (for those that had never partaken in a previous Unleashed challenge before) and Veteran (those that had taken part in challenges). Having done Embark and Emerge challenges through Unleashed Education, we were in the Veteran class with 71 other amazing photographers. Congratulations to all who submitted images and those who placed in both categories.
We are absolutely stoked to come away with a Top 10 placing!

Jo has been waiting a while to get all the stars to align, Tai's coat looking gorgeous, time off work, weather and of course the perfect location.
Over the Easter break we made some magic happen. Tai was just the best boy on a cloudy overcast day, in the most gorgeous place, Te Anau.
