Whether you’ve been following along for a while or just clicked "follow" recently, welcome! I thought it was a great time to reintroduce myself and share a bit about what this page is all about.
I got into photography over 18 years ago, driven by a deep desire to capture stories, connection, and real life as it happens. Pursuing my passion meant diving headfirst into studying for 2 years for my diploma in photography and starting what turned into a very successful photography business—a wild, rewarding journey as a solo mum with a busy 2-to-5-year-old in tow. Balancing late-night edits, classes, and toddler energy taught me how to find beauty, patience, and magic in the middle of everyday chaos. That experience completely shaped how I look through the lens today, giving me a strong appreciation for the quiet, candid moments, the big milestones, and every genuine memory in between.

What an incredible evening celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival here in Invercargill! 🐉✨

​While today’s festivities were held in lieu of the traditional dragon boat racing! It was a fantastic opportunity to focus on the heart of the event—the vibrant cultural celebrations, the stunning traditional artistry, and the amazing community spirit that makes our city so special.

It’s always a privilege to capture these moments that bring our community together, even when things look a little different than expected.

Who says a bit of Invercargill drizzle has to dampen the vibe? Honestly, I think the rain was just a paid extra to make the Illuminate show look even cooler.

​While everyone else was probably looking for umbrellas, this crew was busy turning the park into their own personal dance floor. We spotted this mama absolutely rocking it—holding one child, spinning the other, and laughing through the rain like a total boss.
​The neon greens, the glowy purples, and that pure "living in the moment" energy? Main. Character. Energy. I’m still on the hunt for this legendary dancing queen! If you know who she is, tag her below.
