I’ve worked with this family over the year’s and each time we look for a different spot for a family shoot.
It was a trek getting there especially with camera case and tripod in hand ( took the wrong track sort of made for sheep) and a rest was required while I set up my gear. But an amazing evening and worth the effort - best time of day for a shoot like this 730pm.

Can’t believe this weather ! This time last week Taste Hastings was underway and it was pushing 26 degrees. ☀️
Was definitely a fun event to photograph with tons of people enjoying the Hastings hospitality vibe.

Thanks Harker Herbal I came out of this photo shoot in your factory feeling renewed !
The scent in there was healing all the way, what a place to spend a few hours, oh and some great production line shots while I was there of course !

Was great to work with the team at Northern Wool in Napier again and provide a series of images for their boardroom, it’s actually a great way of telling your story to visitors to your business.

The original idea may be to take photos for website and social media ( which this job was) but then using the images for presentation and annual reports, see how one good shot can be used in different ways !

So, if you’re thinking a business shoot consider how many ways you can use the images and maximise your investment.

Lots of fun and memories for everyone who came along to celebrate Ahuriri Playcentres 50th on Saturday.
As well, a thank you to Kathryn Wakelin for 30 years service to Playcentre. You could feel the aroha❤️ from everyone there for her, especially the tamariki who gathered around her for the whole afternoon.
A really special place for many families over the years.

Was great to get this shot of local Paul Taylor as part of FotoFest Photography Festival Hawke's Bay promotion - can’t wait !

Taking a photo of another photographer is always an experience !
Most people know this fella , and it’s awesome to have Paul exhibiting his incredible infrared series this year at FOTOFEST.
You will find Paul’s work at 211 Heretaunga Street , in the laneways beside and
I had a sneak preview today and wow, you won’t want to miss this exhibition, and Paul’s work like all our exhibitors is for sale during FOTOFEST.

You will find Paul always with a camera or two and often driving or parked between jobs in his campervan, Rosie.

I often end up in op shops with Caths Kitchen HB sustainability is a big thing reuse, renew , recycle as much as we can.
I was wandering around yesterday in Orewa’s amazing hospice store and was so impressed by the set up I had to take this pic.
This was their book section and they had gone to so much effort it looked so inviting like an old book store. The whole store was set up in a similar style.
I had to wait about 20 minutes for no one to be looking at books but was worth it to remember how great it looked.
So, what’s your favourite op shop from around the country ? We may just pay it a visit !

Got to work with East School this morning - beautiful day to travel out there, always enjoy the sound of the birds in the trees.
I often get classes that have ‘mascots’ so first time I have had an actual dog as class mascot !
Had to grab the shot of course, she looked so happy to be included 🐕
