What app could I use to monitor sound and give an alert when there is a change in tone? As an example, monitoring the sound of a machine and then giving an alert when the tone changes due to a bearing starting to fail. In the image below the spike on the right of centre is the sound of me whistling.

Good news! After the story was published about trying to raise money to buy Ash a campervan to live in, NZ housing contacted him and said they had a place for him to stay. Unfortunately his older dog had to be put down 2 days ago but at least he has a home to live in now.
