Often I get asked, what if my baby is unsettled? I get it, the worry is real, but there is no need! Newborn sessions are always baby-led, following their pace and allowing plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, and settling when needed.
Then theres those tiny details we sometimes worry about—peely skin, milk spots, flaky little fingers and toes— they're are all part of their story. These precious newborn features change so quickly, and one day they’ll simply be a memory.
And then there's big brother, or sister. Welcoming a sibling is a huge adjustment! I always make space for little ones to warm up, take breaks, and process sharing Mum and Dad’s time. Patience is key, because these moments are about capturing your family’s transition as it is.
The newborn stage is fleeting, beautifully imperfect, and gone before we know it. That’s why I believe in documenting it just as it unfolds.
Because these first days are about more than a new baby—they’re about a family becoming something beautifully new.
