Am I an introvert? Absolutely.
A quiet day at home fills my cup.

But it’s not to say I don’t enjoy people — their stories, and the people that make them who they are. Those who flock together with love, inside jokes, and ease.

I think my need for a quiet day at home is also filled by the quiet moments I experience behind a camera lens. The small moments I often wonder if I’m the only one who sees them — the simple brush of fingers, the soft moments, the joy, the details.

I'm looking for a couple of mums who are available after school drop off (or preschool), who want to do something for themselves, connect with other women in their 20s/30s/40s, and feel fitter and stronger.

I run a womens only exercise class on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9.15am, starting the week of 26 Jan (or you can start the following week when school goes back). We have babysitting available at these classes for the littlies.

Wednesdays is a 45min core class, Mondays and Fridays is a 60min more varied exercise class - weights, cardio, bodyweight exercises etc.

I'd like to offer you TWO FREE classes so that you can try both of them out and see which one you vibe better with.

I can’t thank my beautiful clients enough for trusting me to capture your memories this year and allowing me to do what I love. I’m so looking forward to the sessions ahead in the new year and continuing to meet new people and tell their stories.

And how gorgeous was this spring session? Lush grass, bare feet, laughter and little lambs — it really doesn’t get much better than that.

Give SkinScreen West Coast some love! They are bringing great/ needed services to the West Coast!

👋 Let us introduce ourselves... Calum Stannett is our Clinical Director, and will be performing all skin checks and surgeries at SkinScreen West Coast.

He was born and raised on a farm in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scotland, and completed his medical training at the University of Edinburgh before moving out to New Zealand in 2019. He is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and holds an Advanced Clinical Certificate in Dermatoscopy through the Skin Cancer College Australasia. He is also an Associate Member of the New Zealand Society of Skin Cancer Doctors.

Since moving to the Coast in 2022, Calum has built a reputation locally for his passion and expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and surgery. His determination to improve access to specialist skin cancer services for Coasters led him to establish the West Coast’s first dedicated Skin Cancer clinic in 2025 - SkinScreen West Coast.

In addition to Skin Cancer Medicine, Calum also works at Te Nīkau Hospital in Greymouth. Working throughout Primary and Secondary care on the Coast has allowed Calum to build and maintain strong relationships across the West Coast health landscape, and he regularly receives referrals from both patients and fellow doctors. Calum is the GP representative on the West Coast Health board of trustees, and he also maintains links with the Christchurch-based specialist plastic surgery department.

Outside of work Calum is kept busy with three young kids. When he’s not playing with the kids or changing nappies, he loves heading into the backcountry to explore our stunning West Coast bush, building things in the shed, riding his bike and playing the piano.

That gorgeous sunny evening before the week of storms and it was certainly well enjoyed! This crew would have gone home with half the beach in their pockets. It was a laugh and one that definitely had me smiling on my drive home 🧡

I lay witness to the tallest cat I’ve ever seen during this session 🐈 but that certainly wasn’t the highlight! Those frowns, the Snugs and the cheeky smiles….. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again there’s something magic about in home photo sessions it’s a mix of documenting a family in there safe place, everyone seems relaxed, no rushing out the door to be on time as well as immense gratitude to be there to photograph these special moments 🧡 I have 2 more weekend sessions available for before Christmas and my books are open for Summer holiday sessions!

I always keep space aside for newborns and maternity—these moments are fleeting, and they deserve to be held onto 🧡
