It’s been a long hiatus from my photography sharing account! But I’ve picked up a Pentax Spotmatic (x2 actually, the first body was not enjoying higher shutter speeds)

Although the first two rolls were a learning curve, I’m really enjoying film and how it slows down the trigger happy. It’s nice to feel more conscious of the images I’m taking.

Just got back my third (and fourth lol) roll, tried out .nz and stoked to have all the exposures back this time.

A stunner day for a walk along the Catlins River - Whisp Loop Track.

A lot of beautiful bed rock to make for some pretty tempting swimming spots. We parked one car at each end for a shorter day tramp and finished at Tawanui Campsite in Owaka Valley.

Ada & Ben got engaged at Monkey island back in March, so we headed out to recreate the day with a beautiful golden hour shoot.

The tide played some tricks and we got a bit soaked on the way to and from monkey island (opps) which was a laugh and an experience!

Cannot wait for December to roll round with their wedding!
