Popped up to Central a few weeks ago to photograph some of my longtime clients ❤️
It’s such a privilege documenting people’s lives.
I met Claire and Niall about 15 years ago when they’d just got engaged. I’ve shot so many special times in their lives, and over the years we’ve become friends. Just like so many of my wonderful clients.
The nature of my job means I get up close and personal. We laugh, commiserate, share, and make memories. That’s why I love it. Connection is the meaning of life ❤️

Central Otago! ☀️☀️☀️

I’m heading your way for a shoot on January 25th - a great time to get some family shots while the kids are off school, some content for your business, or some personal branding for yourself! 💅

I may even look at doing some family mini shoots if there are a few of you interested… 👀

Belinda and Luke's extended family session was a beautiful highlight of last Summer ☀️

Everyone happy and relaxed post Christmas in the long, warm evening light of the family farm 🌾 Grandparents, cousins, dogs and so many laughs. Just how I like it!

Christmas is a great time to organise an extended family shoot together, while everyone is in one place.
With extended family shoots, you have the opportunity not only have the whole family photographed, but also every individual family group.. the kids.. grandparents and grandchildren... siblings... mothers and children.... the choices are endless!
And with the possibility of sharing costs, it can be a super affordable way of getting family photos for everyone. A great option for a whole family or grandparent gift!

Vouchers are ready to go, and I have a couple of spots right on Christmas, for those who book early. Pop me a message for package options! 🌸

Always such a pleasure to work with friends ♥️

For this content shoot for ’s Ray pinafore pattern release, it was a dream team of old school Logan Park creatives working together to get the goods!

Thanks for modelling, .johnston.ceramics for the location, and of course the insanely talented sustainable pattern designer Tara Viggo for staying up all night sewing to get the dresses finished! 🔥
And of course me behind the lens 👋

So many laughs and much reminiscing. I love our creative little town.

We got the most beautiful day for this Branding Basics Session with my friend Charlotte

The colours! The tones! One of my favourite shoots in the last wee while.

You can find Charlotte’s amazing artwork featured in this session at ✨
We also did a shoot at Charlotte’s art studio this day, too.
More to come ♥️

Thank you to wonderful for allowing me to use her beautiful images that we shot on the University of Otago campus a couple of weeks ago 🙌

Every now and then, a project comes along that allows me into spaces that are really making a difference out there in our communities ♥️

Last year I had the honour of working on several shoots for Te Hou Ora Whānau Services with For Purpose, a campaigning agency that helps communities and socially-led organisations create positive social change.
The goal was to create imagery to support THOWS in illustrating what they’re out there doing on the ground - Kaupapa Māori centred social work with young people and whānau here in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.

Below are some images from Te Hou Ora Whānau's beautiful new website, and a little more on my recent work page:

Thanks to the wonderful team at Te Hou Ora Whanau Services for being just amazing to work with, and to For Purpose for integrating my images so well in your design!
Love to see it!

I’m lucky to still see many of my wedding clients, from back in the summers where I was constantly running between Central Otago and Dunedin, spending my weeks editing in my darkened office, and shooting tonnes of commercial work during the rest of the year.

Hectic days! And I’m definitely glad to have retired from the wedding scene, but I still have so many beautiful memories of those special days ♥️

Bridget and Dave’s wedding in 2014 was my lucky last, before I had Daisy. It was one of those hot, late summer days in Arrowtown, with nor’west cloud arches overhead and the most lovely evening light.
Bridget’s constant laughter and always-caring nature made my day - the happiest, most easy breezy bride!
Which makes it extra special to still be photographing her beautiful family all these years later - longtime clients become beautiful old friends as time goes on 🌸

Here are some shots of their newest addition, beautiful Finn ♥️
Thank you guys x

Content imagery is sooooo important for small business - here's a little blog about why they're my absolute favourite photographs to shoot.

Beautiful floristry and flower farm shots from Wildwood Flowers website shoot a couple of weeks back 🌸🌼🪻

Golden summer light… swathes of beautiful flowers… the loveliest florist in a tiny studio sitting atop a mountain… what more could I want in a content shoot?!
