Tiny details, sleepy cuddles, and the comfort of home 🤍

One of the things I love most about in-home newborn sessions is being able to create beautiful, studio-style images without families needing to leave the house. This little one was an absolute dream, all snuggled up with my favourite teddy and sleeping peacefully throughout the session.

Those newborn days pass so quickly, but photographs like these help you hold onto them forever.

Behind the scenes life has been a little heavier lately.

But the next month is bringing some really big exciting changes for Racheal Trail Photography and I honestly cannot wait to share them with you all 🤍

But first I thought I would share what has been happening the last 6 months.

Just after Christmas my husband suffered a cardiac arrest and had to have a defibrillator fitted. Since he hasn’t been able to drive for the past 6 months, alongside running my business I’ve also been doing the daily driving so he could continue working across the farm blocks he manages around Pukekohe.

It’s been exhausting at times balancing sessions, editing, admin, family life, travelling and now preparing for a studio move as well.

But amongst all the chaos there’s also been growth, perspective and excitement for what’s ahead.

Thank you to every client that continues to support my small business through every season of life.
