Handfasting is an old Scottish tradition where a couple’s hands are tied together to symbolise their union, it’s actually where the phrase “tying the knot” comes from.

This wedding leaned into that beautifully. A more traditional Scottish feel, simple and intentional.

Just their closest people, standing in a forest under beautiful big old trees. No pressure just a really special moment between two people choosing each other.

It was calm, relaxed, and so beautiful to witness.

If you’re considering an elopement-style wedding, I can’t recommend it enough. Big weddings can be amazing, but they can also be stressful and expensive. Often drama involved as others try to make it about them…. Elopements are like the opposite of that. Remember your wedding day is all about you and your love together.

If you want something meaningful, and truly about the two of you… this is it.

Head to my website to check out my elopement packages, or reach out if you have any questions 🤍

Since I was a little kid I’ve had a camera in my hand. Always capturing everything I saw.

To me a photo is so much more than clicking a button. It’s about the feelings it captures. It’s about telling part of a story.

Photography has always been a big passion for me especially since I started doing it more seriously, teaching myself what I needed to know and turning it into a business.

I still love capturing my own special moments in-between my beautiful clients.

I took my kids to have a wee explore through the fields and it was beautiful setting up my tripod and interval timer I was stoked with these special moments captured.

Sadly I won’t be running minis this year I made the difficult call because of my health and needing to prioritise my kids first and my well being. But always grateful for those who have supported me. I have a few weddings coming up I’m very excited for but keeping the work load low at the moment as I work on my health 🌿🫶🏻😌

Over 4 years of taking photos and supporting my little family with my business that I taught myself from the ground up. It’s been so hard juggling parenting, life and teaching myself all the ins and outs of not just photo taking but all the little things in between.

So crazy to think. I’ve always loved taking photos but I didn’t get my first proper Camera and actually doing the things until I started travelling around New Zealand 6 years ago. I was scared to start because I didn’t think I would ever be good enough.

And while I still struggled with imposter syndrome, I got past that, I bought my first proper camera and started trying, started doing it and I found such a passionate and love for taking photos of People. Over the years I have evolved and improved and I will keep improving. My motto is “there is always room for improvement. We can always get better.”

Thank you to all the beautiful humans who have trusted me to capture their special moments.

Taking a break now for the holidays and I will be back in February 🫶🏻🌿🌼
