Hey guys,
I just wanted to take a moment to remember the people we've lost over the years.
If they have a grave, memorial, or special place that means something to you, go and visit them when you can. Life gets busy, and time has a way of slipping past, but the people we love never truly leave us. They live on in our memories, in the stories we tell, the lessons they taught us, and sometimes in the little things we do without even realising it.
This one is for my person.
My mate. My guide. My friend. My dad.
For this shoot, I teamed up with Mum, and I couldn't have done it without her.
Rosie, thank you for jumping behind the camera and putting up with my ideas. Thanks for taking the photos and being my subject for a few as well. I appreciate it more than you know, and I definitely owe you one.
And Gordz...
I still miss you, mate.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you in one way or another. It's funny how life works. Out of all the things I could have ended up loving, I somehow landed on Fords and motorbikes. If you'd told me that years ago, I probably would've laughed. Yet here we are.
I guess a little bit of you lives on through me in that way.
It's a strange comfort to realise that the people we lose never really disappear. Sometimes they're in our memories, sometimes they're in our habits, and sometimes they're in our questionable taste in vehicles.
So today, take a minute to think about someone you've lost. Visit them if you can. Tell a story about them. Share a laugh, shed a tear, and remember them for who they were.
Because being remembered is one of the greatest gifts we can give those who are no longer here.
Miss you, Gordz. ❤️
