I think photographers are often taught to focus on the visible things first.

The camera gear.
The presets.
The editing style.
The Instagram feed.

But the thing clients remember most is usually how you made them FEEL.

Did they feel comfortable?
Did they feel guided?
Did your communication feel warm and easy?
Did the process feel personal instead of transactional?

One of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve had in business came through Rachel Traxler’s Client Connection Course. It genuinely helped me look at the “in between” moments of business — the emails, the client journey, the way people experience working with you — and realise how important those things really are.

Rachel also has so many incredible resources depending on what area of business you struggle with:
• Email templates
• Posing guides
• Workflow education
• Website resources
• Business templates and systems

Highly recommend checking out the Passion to Profit Guide if you’re feeling like your work is technically good… but something still feels missing in the overall experience.

A genuine question for you —
could you see yourself doing a bo***ir shoot?

Not someday… but as you are right now.

I’d love to know where you sit — yes, no, or somewhere in between 💛

There’s a difference between being seen…
and being felt.

Katrina didn’t walk into this session to play it safe.
She took her time. Took up space. Let the room adjust to her.

The slow drag of fabric.
The way she holds her own body like it’s something worth worshipping.
The kind of gaze that doesn’t ask — it decides.

This isn’t softness for the sake of it.
This is control. Intention. Power wrapped in silk and skin.

And honestly?
It’s addictive to photograph.

Black & white… or colour?

Two completely different moods.
Same moment. Same energy. Same woman.

There’s something about stripping it back to black and white — it softens everything into feeling. Light, shadow, shape.

And then colour steps in… and suddenly it’s all heat.
The red. The flush. The quiet intensity sitting just under the surface.

Neither is better.
Just different ways of telling the same story.

Which one are you choosing?

There’s something about slowing down and letting a moment just exist.

Amanda didn’t need to perform for these — she just settled into herself, into the quiet, into the softness of the space… and everything else followed.

The way she moves, the way she holds herself — it’s not loud, it’s not forced. It’s the kind of confidence that sits gently, but you feel it in every frame.

This is what bo***ir can look like.
Not a version of you… just you, as you already are.

There’s something about red that changes everything.

It’s bold. It’s confident. It doesn’t wait to be noticed.

Poppy brought that energy into every frame—soft in the light, but undeniably powerful in presence. The kind of shoot that feels a little playful… a little dangerous… and completely unapologetic.

And those boots? Yeah… they deserved their own moment ❤️🔥

There’s something quietly powerful about the way Loedicia holds space in front of the camera.

Not forced. Not over-posed. Just… present.

This session felt like stepping into a softer world for a moment — where movement, light, and emotion all met in that in-between space. The kind that doesn’t ask you to perform, only to exist.

Working with people like Loedicia reminds me that bo***ir isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about returning to yourself.

This shoot was the perfect mix of calm and chaos — and I loved every second of it.

Elsie brought such a beautiful, grounded energy to the session, while Bolt and Penny made sure things stayed fun (and slightly unpredictable!). There was a lot of splashing, a lot of laughter, and a few near-slips from me — but in between all of that, we created something really special.

It’s always a reminder that some of the best images come when you let go of trying to control everything and just embrace the moment as it unfolds.

There’s something about water that changes the energy of a shoot.

Everything slows down a little. Movements become softer, more natural — less about posing, more about simply being.

Elsie absolutely embodied that feeling during this session at Ashley Gorge. Effortless, grounded, and completely in the moment. And of course, Bolt (her very cute “foster fail”) and Penny made sure there was plenty of personality and playfulness woven through it all.

These are the kinds of sessions I love most — where nothing feels forced, and everything just unfolds as it should.

There’s something about window light that feels almost cinematic — soft shadows, warm tones, and a quiet moment of confidence.

This beautiful set was created with the incredible , capturing strength, softness, and that timeless bo***ir feeling. ❤️

Bo***ir isn’t about performing for the camera — it’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin and letting that confidence shine through.
