My last wee shoot for 2018, Where has the year gone!

Last week I took a wee trip up the hills with this beautiful couple to get some photos of them amongst the stunning golden light that Christchurch (sometimes) has on offer! Not going to lie we even had to postpone our original shoot because the sometimes golden light was proving to be hard to find!

These guys, Ashleigh & Chris were a laugh and a half, I had so much, too much fun shooting their wedding last week! I'm still buzzing off that first dance! Anyone who knows me well knows I'm borderline addicted to Fresh Prince of Bel Air and to see the Carlton dance almost brough a tear to my eye... haha

Still working my way through my busy week last week and Ive come across some more gems!

Last week I got to be apart of a very intimate home wedding of Anna and Mac where there were only two handfuls of the closest people in their lives, and it was amazing! You could feel the love within their circle but you could also see the fun and laughs!, as shown by Anna in these pics.

Wowee, what an action packed week! 4 weddings in 9 days, all amazing all beautiful and all full of love and happiness!

Up first, Lisa & Logan!

Last weekend I got to watch and capture these love birds marry the love of their lives. It was such a fun day from shooting hoops at Benny's Barbers in the morning to a Flash Mob of Baby Shark at the end of the night, yup baby shark! haha Thanks so much for having me guys it was a privilege.

Number 1 of the season!

I got to shoot the fun and beautiful wedding day of Michael and Jane to last month to kick the season off.

It was such a fun day and was the perfect wedding to get back into it after a few months off and the perfect reminder of why I love to shoot weddings!

And the season is off to a bang!

Number 2 for season sent me down to Dunedin with this awesome bunch of people, to capture the amazing wedding day of Alex and Mika!

It was raining/pouring down on the Friday but someone was obviously looking out for them on the Saturday because the day couldn't have been any perfecter.. perfecter? is that a word..? Majestical!

What a Season!! Almost 12 months since I started, I can now say I am now officially finished! It's been an amazing year with 40 something weddings in the bag, and since I've been head down bum up I haven't been sharing much work. So over the next few weeks I'll be posting weddings and some of the commercial stuff I've been involved in too!

First up is a wedding I shot of two friends of mine!

It was a beautiful day, and was awesome being able to catch up with guests/friends I hadn't seen in a long while.

Last weekend, no world of a lie my phone went flat on the way home from a stunning wedding and I got lost and just drove and drove until I somehow I got home hahaha!.. long story short I followed the bridal party to the reception and didn't pay attention to what suburb I was in... BUT before that I was able to capture the beautiful wedding of two gorgeous people, Chelsey & Chris!

A feeeeeew weeks back I got to shoot the wedding of two young beautiful souls, Rags & Henry

These two and their crew were awesome and so much fun to be around with all day and I had such a great day kicking it with them! Dabs, 'yeah boy!' and "absolute lad' will forever etched in my mind

Last week I found myself in the middle of nowhere.. literally!, with no cell reception to shoot a gorgeous wedding with some surreal scenery by Lake Tennyson and Molesworth Station.

No aisles or seats were needed as the backdrops were all you needed to frame the ceremony of Alex and Laura.
