A little photoshoot I did last weekend for my father's classic car 1978 Buick electric landau. In the late 70s and early 80s, Japan was filling up the modern car market with compact efficient cars full of electrics, windows, seats, mirrors etc. This car is one of the examples of America trying to compete with Japan at the time. Packed full of electrics that were super rare in the 70s.

is a Chch producer/DJ coming up the ranks with his dancefloor dnb tunes. He wanted some dark looking stuff in this shoot and we had a good play with various colours and grains in post. He came back into the studio early 2025 for another shoot but this time with a lighter theme. Cant show them here yet, Far too fresh

3 nights and 2 days in Queenstown for work. Spent a good hour of the drive up stopping and shooting.

First stop was a rest area near a small creek with 5 Fantail chirping and playing and keen to say hello. Those bastards are fast. Had to be super quick on the shutter.

Tonight, if the skies are clear will be astrophotography night.

Friday last week had me shooting my good friend Chris and Jax memorial golf day for their son Kaide, who was taken far too soon. This is the second year of the event and I'm very happy to be a part of it again. I've known Chris and Jax for the better part of 20 years and we were a pair of chefs in our early 20s grooving to dnb in thr kitchens of blue Jean cuisine.

A look back at when it all started and share some of the favs.

It was the spare room of my home with a black ironed bedsheet hanging across the wall.

Running off a pair of speedlites, gels and one 80cm softbox.

Inviting some of my favourite Dj's and Producers over for a jam.

Pick and mix was eaten, dj equpiment was smashed for effect. Good times
