Visitors to the Importance of Small exhibition in the kiosk at the Christchurch Botanical Gardens have enjoyed exploring the microscopic world that can be found in Victoria Lake and viewing the 3D images of Bugs and Plants

The Importance of Small and Plants up Close and Intimate has been open for 3 days and visitors have really enjoyed the 3D images and PowerPoint presentation showing the amazing microscopic world that is all around us. The microscopes from the Cotter Medical History Museum have been used to look at the microscopic life in Lake Victoria. Visitors have been surprised and amazed at what they have seen.

Over the last 4 months I have been working with Kerry Swanson to produce an travelling exhibition incorporating incredible 3D images taken with an electron tunnelling microscope. The Importance of Small: a 3D Photographic Exploration takes the viewer into an amazing microscopic world through twenty one A1 framed photographs.
