It’s been a hell of a long time since I’ve posted on here 🫣 so let me re introduce myself

Hey 👋🏼 my name is Nicola and I’m the face behind the camera/business 📸

I work full time and juggle 3 kids with my youngest about to turn 2 🥹 (hence the radio silence for so long 🙈)

I’m slowly getting back into the groove of things photography and my little business. I took a much needed break from it all to get my heart back in it again and to really spend time with family and raising my daughter 🩷 and now that she’s a little bit older and a lot more sassier I’m more than happy to get away on the odd weekend to capture those special moments for you all 🥰

Its been a while since I've posted on here but tonight this post is a little different.

Just before Christmas of 2020 I was asked to photograph a funeral for someone very special to me. As painful as the loss was and the strange feeling I felt about taking these images I just couldn't say no. These photos were going to a little boy who was only 4 years old the time his mother passed and he would cherish these forever to remember the celebration of her life 🕊

As emotional as I was that day this job had given me a purpose and kept me together (mostly) during the whole thing 🥺

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Coreen, Alex and family for asking me to do you such a huge request and it was an honour to be able to do this for you all ❤️

Rhi was truly a beautiful human inside and out no matter what came her way ! It was a blessing knowing her and being with you guys when you needed me the most. I have many memories with her which I will cherish forever and I can't wait to share them with Daeshaun one day.

Recently I had the absolute pleasure of being asked to photograph this families second lot of maternity photos 🤰 I could not be more happy to have been asked for their second time round ! It was a stunner day☀️🌊 and this mumma knew exactly what she wanted ❤️😍 they have turned out beautifully and I can't wait for you to see them all but for now here's a wee sneak peek for you 🥰📷💕

I can not express in words how incredible it was to be part of your big day 💍 The love I felt alone from not only the bridal party but guests and family blew me away 🥰 I felt like I had known you all a life time ! I left your wedding with such a warm fuzzy heart and feeling so blessed and lucky to have been able to witness and capture something so beautiful such as yourselves and everyone around you ❤️
To the bridal party, I would just like to say thank you so so so much for making my job such a breeze. You were all such naturals 😂😉 I loved working with each and every one of you and the endless laughs that came with it.
Finally I would just like to wish the newly weds Marion & Petera nothing but happiness and love for your new chapter in life !

Happy New Year 🎇

Now that I’m finally back to reality from a nice but not quite long enough holiday 😂😉

I can not thank all the beautiful people I have met in the last year enough ! Thank you so so much for supporting my small business and keeping me going ! Each shoot is always a little different and I love it ❤️

This year is busy with weddings in full swing already 💍 and plenty more to come I’m sure 🙌🏼

I’m so excited to see where this year takes us and I can not wait to meet more people !

I have been so overwhelmed lately by the love and support of so many beautiful people who have decided to support a small business like myself 🥰 It blows me away at how much support , recommendations and suggestions I get from people about and for my business ❤️ I can not thank you all enough for this and it really does not go unnoticed and because of this my business has now expanded into the Manawatu region 🙌🏼 next year is going to be a big one with a lot of travel but I can’t wait and am so excited for this new adventure 📷
