The Documentary Family Awards believes in the educational value of a transparent judging process. This is Project Somos .. a not for profit school in the mountains of Guatemala .... a place that changes lives and inspires many , myself included ...a location like no other to grow as a photographer with myself and Susan Ryan , both recognised photographers in their fields , talks , daily critique and shooting with teachers , and on site throughout , so the learning is ongoing throughout the course...this school , this country is an experience that will stay with you forever... this much i know to be true... if you are up for it , this course will be a good one..

I have had the great honour of being asked to teach two workshops at The CreFest in Barcelona in March next year... which I have heard is incredible !! We stay in caravans close to the beach !!!!
I will be teaching a crash course in composition and my approach to building pictures ... which I am really looking forward to ... there are still a few tickets left (but not many I believe) .... if you are interested !!!!

Travelling with my four has had plenty of challenges but so many phenomenal experiences .... we have our heads , hearts and souls stuffed full .. which I guess is the best way to end your travels .... currently in the US and looking at the possibility of extending our stay here by a couple of weeks in Denver Colorado area .... this is a little late notice .... but wondering if there was any interest in possibility of family documentary sessions in the area ... (prices will be a one off due to late notice and need for confirmation asap) $200 an hour with 2 hour minimum .... $650 half day and $1100 full day .....Also looking at the idea of teaching a one day (it will be a long day for sure ) session ... all I know and apply with regards to composition .....predominantly theory based with Q and A and portfolio review ... at this stage it is dependent on whether I have enough interest ... price is $450 for the day.
