Photographer – Artist – Designer

Photography to me is about capturing awe inspiring moments in time, special precious memories and the beauty that the world has to offer us. Often life takes hold of us and drags us along the race of time, sometimes we forget to stop, look around and breathe. Life is a beautiful thing and beauty surrounds us all, it’s in this beauty we find joy, happiness, love an

d peace. My job as a photographer is to create and capture this unique beauty so that these moments, these memories, can become keepsakes and are treasured for years to come.

West Coast weather doing what West Coast weather does.

One minute it was sideways rain and getting belted by wind, the next there was a small gap in the clouds and a hint of sunset sneaking through.

The starfish were hanging on tighter than I was, the tide was swirling around the rocks, and for a few minutes Motukiekie looked pretty bloody good.

Then the rain came back.

Worth every soggy minute. 🌧️📷

Photographers have a secret: sometimes the hardest part isn't taking the photo—it's getting around to editing it.

This sunset above Pinnacles Hut has been waiting patiently since 2022. Looking at it now, I'm glad I didn't leave it buried forever.

A fresh blanket of snow, the last light of day washing across the Mt Somers Range, and not another soul in sight.

Moments like this are why I keep heading back into the hills.

A little detour from the landscapes I usually chase.

Still life photography slows me right down, and flowers will always be my happy place .

These blooms were picked during a Pick-Your-Own session at in late December, with the peonies from … an entirely unavoidable stop on the drive home.

Sometimes softness is exactly what the creative soul needs.
