The forest breathed around her as the light came dancing through the leaves until it found her.
It wove through the canopy, settling upon the gentle curve of the womb that had nurtured sweet OisĆn for all these months, while dancing shadows kissed her skin with the softest tenderness.
It felt as though Mother Nature herself had reached out with hands of light and leaves, gathering mother and son into one final embrace. As if the forest sensed his arrival was only days away, she whispered her blessing over the first home that had cradled him, honouring the sacred bond they shared before he was welcomed into the loving arms of those who had loved him long before they met him.

There’s so much we don’t see behind a photograph.

Behind this business is a little girl who fell in love with freezing moments in time, a teacher who changed the course of her life, years of studying photography, dreams that continue to evolve, and a body that’s taught her to move through life more gently than she ever expected. And a reminder that you are not a failure for having to slow down.

If you’re new here, I’d love to properly introduce myself.

Amongst the ancient trees and tangled ferns sat Jerry, luminous and ethereal, like a forest fairy guarding the tiniest of secrets.

The woodland held its breath around her as she carried little OisĆn beneath her heart, wrapped in love long before he ever entered the world.

The forest knew before we did. It whispered through the leaves, danced in the fading light, and stood witness as a mother quietly grew alongside her son.

Looking back on these images now that my beautiful nephew OisĆn is finally here makes them feel even more magical. Knowing that the little baby boy I now get to cuddle, love, and watch grow was once safely nestled beneath his mum’s heart is such a surreal and beautiful thing.

I feel so grateful to have documented this chapter for Jerry and my brother Liam —to freeze this fleeting season in time before their sweet boy made his arrival.

Some moments don’t ask to be posed.
They simply unfold.

The curious gaze of an older sibling.
The safety of mama’s arms.
The softness of new life settling into the spaces already made for them.

These are the moments that matter. The ones that feel ordinary now, but one day become everything.

The beginning of a love that will grow through shared laughter, gentle hands, quiet comfort, and the kind of bond only siblings know šŸ¤

Captured softly, just as it felt.

One day, your children will look for photos of you… and you deserve to be in them.

I truly believe every mother deserves to be seen, held, and remembered in this season of life šŸ’šāœØšŸŒæ

Not just for what she does…
but for who she is.

For the quiet strength,
the endless giving,
the love that often goes unseen in the in-between moments.

Motherhood is beautiful, but it’s also fleeting.
The tiny details, the way they fit in your arms, the softness of this season… it changes before we’re ready.

And so often, mothers are the ones behind the camera —
rarely stepping into the frame themselves.

This Mother’s Day, I want to change that šŸ’«

I’m gifting one special mama a free photoshoot experience (valued at $490) — a chance to slow down, be present, and have her story captured in a way that feels honest, natural, and deeply her.

Whether she’s pregnant, holding her newborn, or simply living the everyday beauty of motherhood… this is for her.

Know a mum who gives everything, loves deeply, and truly deserves something just for her?

My darling niece Aoife.
She sat there,
half in this world,
half in one only she could see.

The trees whispered softly around her,
golden light catching in her hair
like it was trying to hold onto the moment, too.

There was no rush,
no need to perform—
just a quiet kind of presence,
the kind we so easily forget as we grow.

Childhood isn’t only laughter and noise…
it’s this.

The stillness.
The wondering.
The way their thoughts drift somewhere unseen,
building entire worlds in the space between heartbeats.

And there’s something about it that feels
both beautiful… and fleeting.

Like you’re witnessing a moment
you already know will one day live in memory.

I think that’s what I’m always trying to hold onto—
not just how it looked,
but how it felt.

Soft.
Fleeting.
A little bit like something you can’t quite keep…
only gently remember.

ā€œFor you, there’ll be no more crying
For you, the sun will be shining
Because I feel that when I’m with you
It’s alright, I know it’s right
To you, I’ll give the world
To you, I’ll never be cold
Because I feel that when I’m with you
It’s alright, I know it’s right
And the songbirds are singing
Like they know the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you
Like never beforeā€

This is not the polished version of motherhood.
this is not the glowing, effortless story people like to tell.

this is the quiet weight of it.
the ache in your body, the stretching, the surrender.
the moments where you sit alone with it all and feel everything at once—
love, fear, anticipation, exhaustion… and something you can’t quite name.

because growing life changes you.
not just your body, but the way you exist in the world.

there is a letting go here—
of who you were, of what felt certain,
of the illusion that you are in control.

and in its place… something softer, something deeper is forming.

a strength that doesn’t need to prove itself.
a love that already exists before you’ve even met.

this is the in-between.
the becoming.
the part no one really prepares you for—
but maybe the most sacred of all.

this is what i’m drawn to capture—
not perfection, not performance…
but truth.

the raw, the tender, the real moments
you’ll one day look back on and feel all over again.

if you feel drawn to this kind of storytelling,
my books are open for maternity sessions šŸ¤

That first latch…
a moment so quiet, yet so powerful it changes everything.

It’s more than just feeding — it’s instinct, connection, and the beginning of a bond that has been growing long before this very breath.
A baby finding comfort, a mother learning her rhythm, both meeting each other in a way only they can understand.

In those first moments, there is reassurance, nourishment, and love all wrapped into one.
A reminder that the body knows, the baby knows… and together, they find their way.

Such a small moment, yet one of the most important beginnings. šŸ¤

I’ve been quiet for a while… and truthfully, it’s because I needed to be.

Burnout hit me harder than I expected, tangled up with imposter syndrome and that familiar feeling of not being ā€œenough.ā€ When you live with ADHD and carry big dreams in your heart, the overwhelm can feel all-consuming. There are so many ideas, so much passion… but sometimes life, and your own mind, ask you to slow down whether you want to or not.

This image feels like a reflection of that space — a pause, a stillness, a moment of retreat. But also, something softer… a quiet kind of reblooming. Like shifting shadows across skin, reminding me that even in the darker seasons, there is movement… there is change.

ā€œI took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
ā€˜Til the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin’ ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?ā€¦ā€

Landslide has been sitting with me in this season — a reminder that growth can feel heavy, uncertain, even a little heartbreaking… but it’s still growth.

I’m learning that stepping back doesn’t mean you’re failing. It doesn’t mean you’ve lost your way. It just means you’re human. And being hard on yourself only deepens the weight you’re already carrying.

So this is me, gently returning. Not rushing, not forcing — just allowing myself to come back when I’m ready.

If you’ve been feeling the same, this is your reminder: you’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to start again. 🌿
