Tinariwen had a infinity session at Roundhead Studios a few months back and I was fortunate enough to be part of the live stream camera crew. Sometimes you are lucky to be at an event where there are no bad frames... this was one of those events. Here's a couple of my frames but if you'd like to watch the session then you can find it here

Tinariwen are considered pioneers of desert blues, the group's guitar-driven style combines traditional Tuareg and African music with Western rock music. Tinariwen are Tuaregs, children of a nomadic Berber tribe who have roamed the Saharan desert for thousands of years. Displaced through colonialism they are in search of their homeland lost to them.

For me this photo evokes a sense of mystery and tension due to the contrast between light and shadow. The dimly lit doorway and the warm-toned wall hint at something hidden or unknown beyond the frame, creating an intriguing and slightly unsettling atmosphere. It feels contemplative, inviting you to explore what lies beyond the darkness. I find it optimistic and encouraging. How does it make you feel?
