What a special location for this family shoot! 🐎✨
A horse farm in the rolling hills of Tuscany, with shady olive trees, golden fields, and that magical layered light. 🌿🌾

The weather played tricks on us, but we caught that perfect moment when the sky was moody yet blue in the distance, the breeze came through, and it wasn’t yet searing hot.

This family was just picture perfect to capture on their land, surrounded by what they love most: their horses, their trees, their fields. 💛
The kids were exceptional, and I loved patiently observing and following their cues to get just the right shots.

What is better than this? Truly, memories made where your heart belongs.

✨ Last days of summer magic ✨
I had phenomenal fun capturing this powerhouse of a family at Muriwai! 🌊☀️ Three energetic kids full of curiosity and ideas, letting kites fly, pushing my cart around the beach, and playing around their parents with so much joy – it felt effortless to frame these moments.

The beautiful Muriwai light helped tremendously, painting everything in that golden glow we all wish we could bottle up forever.

Looking back at these images, I’m reminded of just how awesome a New Zealand summer can be. 🌿💛

We’re a full-time house-sitting family, and this lifestyle fits us perfectly right now. One of the biggest perks? Spending time with amazing pets! Each one is so unique, and our toddler loves cuddling and playing with them (when they’re up for it!).

We keep the owners updated with plenty of photos and videos, but I also take the chance to practice photographing animal portraits. It’s been a great way to sharpen my skills, try out new editing styles, and even experiment with creative tools like generative AI.

As a little thank-you, I choose my favourite photo, frame it, and leave it as a gift. Seeing the owners’ reactions makes it all so worth it!

When she reached out to me, she had one simple request: beautiful photos of herself. Not for her family, not for work—just for her.

Her children are grown, she has a career she loves, and she’s living a life that brings her joy. And yet, she wanted to pause and celebrate herself with stunning portraits.

When I first received her request, I’ll admit I was surprised. Not because she shouldn’t want photos—of course, she should! But because it was the first time a mature woman had asked me for something so purely for herself. It made me reflect on how society often sends the message that women of a certain age shouldn’t desire things like this. That they shouldn’t celebrate themselves in this way.

But that notion is utterly absurd. Every single person, no matter their age, gender, or life circumstances, deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful.

Capturing her strength, grace, and vibrant spirit was an honour. I hope to photograph many more incredible souls like her in the future.
