As a photographer, I get to witness a lot of incredible events, but every now and then there's one that reminds you of what a passionate community can achieve.

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the Team NZ BLUE Multisports Charity Event, and it was one of those days. The atmosphere was full of energy, generosity, and people genuinely wanting to make a difference.

From the perfect venue & delicious food at Bivacco, to the charity auction, every part of the day contributed to something much bigger.

AND even better - together, more than $60,000 was raised for I AM HOPE , Inspire Foundation Marl and I-Built Racing, which is an amazing achievement.

A huge congratulations to the NZBLUE Multisports team for bringing it all together and thank you for trusting me to capture the day. It's always a privilege to tell the story behind events like these and document moments that have such a positive impact.

The DREAM collab to photograph! 📸

Two kiwi originals. One seriously good sando.

Pic's Peanut Butter have teamed up with the epic Wigmore Deli • Sandwiches & Pantry i to create a limited edition Pic Me Sando! Featuring Pic’s Chilli Peanut Butter slathered into a satay sauce, dolloped between crispy seasoned tofu, crunchy cabbage, carrot, edamame slaw and fresh mint.

The deliciousness doesn’t stop there, as to complement this yumso sando, the team have created an Allpress cold brew, topped with an exclusive Pic’s Honey Peanut Butter cold foam.

Tried and tested = SO delicious!

This tasty combo runs until the 2nd August, so if you are struggling with weekend plans…this should be on the list!

If comfort had a smell, it would be freshly baked bread 🥐🍞🥖

I have to say, in my 36 years on this planet, one thing that will always be an absolute win in my book is fresh bread and butter. Straight out of the oven? Even better.

That golden crust gives the most satisfying crack as you tear into it, revealing a soft, cloud-like centre that's still steaming. Then comes the butter. A generous slab melting instantly into every little pocket until it's silky, glossy and soaked into every bite.

It's the contrast - crisp on the outside, pillowy in the middle, warm, salty and impossibly buttery.

It's simple. It's ridiculously moreish. And even when I know I shouldn't because I'll be too full, I will always order the bread at a restaurant, a cafe or a beautiful bakery.

Every single time.

What a night!

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of joining the Truffle showcase dinner from my beautiful friend and the incredibly talented at

Inspired by dished showcasing premium Nelson truffles and some of Olvia’s stunning recipes, it was a simply delicious night.

Here’s the menu - and yes, I ate it all.

Chicken Skin, parfait, carrot marmalade
Savoury Cannoli, pancetta, pistachio truffle
Winter Beetroot tartlet, ossetra
Kiwi rarebit, cheddar stout
King Salmon, tomato, horseradish
Kumara gnudi, sweetcorn, truffle pangrattato
Greenstone creek scotch, Jerusalem artichoke, brined onion
Burnt Basque truffle cheesecake, bourbon butterscotch
Butternut ice-cream, truffle pumpkin seed shortbread, tamarillo

Everythign was devine, but if I had to choose my favs I would say the Kiwi rarebit, the kumara gnudi and the Butternut icecream were a few of the stars - moreish, simply, moreish!

Who said veggie pizzas have to be boring? 🌿

I always have such a good time capturing delicious food, but pizza is my ALL-TIME favourite food, so that made this shoot even more YUM!

Introducing the 5 Boroughs pizza from SALS - Mozzarella, creamy ricotta, black garlic sauce, marinara & pesto splash. Tried and tested, and can confirm it’s delicious!

Restaurants don't need more content.

They need content that makes people book a table.

We are thriving for authenticity right now. Especially as the internet is plastered with cheap looking AI nonsense.

Bad images don't make your restaurant authentic, they make the food look forgettable.

Scroll, scroll, scroll, delicious plate of food, stop, look, check where this is, look at menu, adds to list of new places to eat, books table.

Wow… June was a big one. Ok, I lie, it was HUGE 😂

A month filled with delicious brands, beautiful restaurants, cosy cafés, and plenty of creative recipes kept me VERY busy.

I feel incredibly grateful for the variety of projects I get to work on, & helping to tell the stories behind amazing hospitality businesses is an absolute dream.

AND even after a huge month, I finished it without signs of burnout (a HUGE win in my books) 🙌

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through the year! A huge thank you to everyone who has trusted me to bring your food, products, and brands to life.

Some restaurants are near impossible to photograph without feeling VERY hungry!

The rich broth, the perfectly cooked noods & the moment of slurp = YUM
