I love feminine details. Soft hues and gentle pops of colour. It was so simple to bring this little styled shoot together with Mum’s perfume, my sister’s shoes and some gorgeous carnations and gypsophila.
Brides, you actually don’t need to spend big dollars on your details. When I married my husband, I’d kept a little $10 perfume from the chemist which I’d been wearing when I first met him as a uni student. I think I have the last two bottles of this perfume in the world.
The flowers in this photo were $25. As mentioned, the perfume and shoes are borrowed. The sunnies were favours from my own wedding. And the backdrop is chiffon from Spotlight for less than $10.
Sometimes we get caught up in having the best or the newest, but little details which are whimsical, carefree and precious, will create an authentic curation of your getting ready story.
