How do you know what date to book a newborn shoot when baby isn’t even here yet?” 🤔

I get asked this question all the time!
Ideally, around 2 weeks old is the sweet spot for a newborn session in the studio.

But since babies rarely stick to their actual due date, here’s how I make it work:

🗓 We pencil in a date based on your due date to hold your spot in my calendar.
👶 When baby arrives, you drop me a quick message.
🗓 We adjust! We’ll bring your session forward or push it back depending on when your little one actually makes their debut.

To make sure every family gets total flexibility, I only take on a limited number of newborn bookings each month. My booking diary often looks like a giant jigsaw puzzle, but it works like magic every time! ✨

My best piece of advice? Don’t wait until baby is born to book. Spaces fill up fast, and booking ahead guarantees I’ll have room in the schedule to squeeze you in whenever baby decides to arrive.

Whether you’re marking your baby’s first Christmas, watching them grow in the blink of an eye, or putting together the ultimate photo gift for a grandparent - these quick and short sessions are just the thing!

When: Friday 20th November & Saturday 21st November

Where: My home studio in Torbay, North Shore

Length: 20 mins session styled in a neutral and timeless Christmas aesthetic

Pricing: $185 (includes 20 mins in the studio and 5 high resolution digital image)

Upgrades & prints will also be available. Due to time constraints - babies over 3 months only, and a max of 2 adults.
