Once you start researching places to go and things to see in Tasmania you quickly learn how diverse and unique this little island is. We only had a two day window to see as much as we could on our second attempt at Cradle Mountain, so we took the circuit track to Marion’s Lookout to tick off 3 things at once. We hung around Crater Lake for awhile, admiring the alpine lake once formed from glacial ice and snow.

Bay of Fires dreaming ✨

White sand, clear blue waters and striking orange lichen-cloaked boulders. We fell in love with the Bay of Fires and it’s unique coastline almost instantly. Dreaming of spending warmer days in the ocean exploring all the bays in a little camper 🤍📸:

I asked the new AI generator to replace the grass with a field of wildflowers and this is what it gave me. Blurring the lines between what’s real and make-believe isn’t anything new to the photo world, now it just takes one click. What’re your thoughts on AI? Are you for or against it? I still think it’s going to take some time before it’s reliably better than the human eye/touch in photoshop.

We missed the Mt Amos track re-opening by two days so instead we took an easier sunrise stroll to the Wineglass Bay lookout. Our visit to Freycinet was short and sweet but it’s definitely top of the list for next visit to Tasmania 🩵✨
