This Thursday til Sunday and my first exhibition in France, near Paris!

“Public Parent, Private Failure / When Respect Is Missing”

You can’t borrow the respect you failed to earn.

Some people seek love from other people’s children because it’s easier than earning respect from their own.

Some people struggle to earn respect and love from the children they already have. Instead of facing that painful reality, they seek validation elsewhere-sometimes from strangers, sometimes from kids that aren’t even theirs. It might feel safer.

Some people spend a lifetime performing parenthood for strangers because earning respect from their own children requires a level of self-reflection that applause can never replace.

Ones that won’t challenge us, reject us, or force us to confront uncomfortable truths.

It’s about filling an emotional void, creating an image of being needed, loved, or admired when those feelings are missing where they matter most.

Sometimes the loudest displays of affection are compensations for the connections that never truly formed.

Sometimes empathy means feeling embarrassed for people who aren’t self-aware enough to be embarrassed themselves.

AN INTERVENTION

Sometimes being sick isn’t just illness. It’s an intervention.

It pulls you away from work, obligations, and the endless list of things you “should” be doing. It can even distance you from the people you love.

As an introverted extrovert, I can spend hours entertaining others—making people laugh, filling the silence, keeping the energy alive. Although, to be fair, I’m also a strong believer in quality silence: those moments when people simply share the same space and vibe without needing to say a word.
What worries me most is how little it takes for me to have a good time alone. When some joke from my head is just way too funny in my little humble world I’ll put it in my second book I promise. Sorry.

Still, I sometimes feel like an anxious clown in a crowded room.

And because company often feels like a cure for anxiety (I’m not counting all those beers), solitude can feel like the last thing I need.

But sometimes, the medicine isn’t company.

Sometimes, what you really need is solitude.

Not every empty space is lonely.

No Matter What The Weak Heart Say

No matter how thorny the road is and how weird you feel — it’s still your road. Your journey.

Keep walking as the best version of yourself, no matter what doubt, fear, or weak voices try to tell you.

Two months in Jamaica were something I still can’t fully put into words. I tried to fit in. I understood the vibe. But somehow, I couldn’t. Because I’m from elsewhere.

And maybe that’s the point. You don’t have to belong everywhere.

Understand your roots. I know… straight out of a Jamaican stereotype. Doesn’t make it less true.

Horsemouth’s quote:

“No matter what the weak heart say. And I know that I & I is like a tree, plant by the river of water…”

Too Real To Be Here Forever

Serial Chillers / High Society Since 2009

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time with teenagers around Pardubice and honestly it inspires me a lot.
The freedom, the chaos, the honesty. People always react the strongest when your spirit is actually free. That’s the real vibe.

What looks “different” is usually just something authentic. Pure. Unfiltered.
And there’s something beautiful about not being scared to share your own world, even when some people stop understanding it. That’s not really a loss anyway.

I’d rather post something personal, weird or real than something perfectly made for everyone.
That’s how you stay yourself. That’s how you become unforgettable.

Also random stoner thought:
why does every song suddenly feel like it was written about you??

Happy International Day of Families ❤️

Some absences stay with a child forever.

Not all children get to grow up in a complete family. Some learn very early that home can become divided into different places, different routines, different lives.

People adapt. Children adapt too.
But deep inside, many still carry the quiet feeling that something important is missing

Maybe children from incomplete families feel lonelier as they grow older.

But sometimes those experiences also shape their personality, sensitivity, creativity, strength, or talents in a deeper way than people realize.

Studies show that children from incomplete or broken families are statistically more likely to struggle with anxiety, depression, loneliness, behavioral problems, or addiction later in life.

Some research says they can be nearly twice as likely to face emotional or mental health difficulties compared to children growing up with both parents together. (America First Policy Institute)

At the same time, many of these children also develop unusual emotional depth, independence, resilience, creativity, empathy, or strong survival instincts much earlier than others.

Pain doesn’t only break people.
Sometimes it shapes them too.

Beyond the ego.
To those who protect.
True Mother’s Day.
Happy Mother’s Day!

Adulthood isn’t just about bringing a child into the world.
Adulthood is about never turning that child into a hostage or a weapon.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the women who understand that their role is about safety, not power. To those who know how to be more than just “in the right” and haven’t forgotten that a child’s soul is not a battlefield.
Motherhood is a gift. But like any gift, it requires character to ensure it doesn’t turn into a tool for punishment. A child needs a safe space between a father and a mother. They need peace, stability, and the knowledge that love is not a transaction or a war between adults.
Respect to all the moms who build bridges instead of walls. To those who know a child is not a trophy nor a tool for settling old debts of pain.
And a special shout-out to us dads, who-alongside fatherhood-often have to provide the stability, calm, and reason that may have been lost along the way.
Being a parent isn’t about a legal stamp. It’s about who is truly there for the child-even when life gets difficult and even when someone else’s ego tries to erase you from memories or everyday life.
Sometimes, the greatest act of love for your child is simply not giving up. It’s continuing to fight fairly and refusing to let hatred take root in them.
In the end, time always reveals who was building… and who was destroying.
Stay strong, guys. And a beautiful Sunday to all parents who put their child’s happiness before their own ego. 🕊️

The Man-Machine: Tokyo – Osaka 🇯🇵

Inspired by Kraftwerk, this series explores the tragicomical life of the Japanese “Salaryman.” These are the ghosts of the city-working 14+ hour days, fueled by late-night drinks with clients, and often sleeping on the streets because a taxi home is a luxury their corporate “pyramid” won’t cover.
They are masters of “parking” themselves anywhere-on curbs, station floors, or benches. For many, the job is the only priority; wives and relationships are sidelined for the dream of a promotion that’s always five years away.
While shooting this, I lived it too. Unable to stay in my CouchSurfing flat during the day, I’d catch an hour of sleep in quiet parks before heading back out.
The Salaryman built modern Japan, but as the population shrinks and generations shift, these “human robots” are becoming figures of the past.
