We're fortunate to feel the nature so closely with our eyes and soul. The beauty, harmony synchronization with earth always feel great to re-energize, revitalize the mind, body and spirit of life.

If one day you decide to trek to Everest base camp, you have to know that there are many route options. The most spectacular, without a doubt, is known as "The route of the three steps". One of these mountain passes is the Cho La Pass. Snow, ice, fog… it is anyone's guess what you will find in it. But the reward is to reach Gokyo - that tiny town that you can see in the lower left corner of the photo - And also to its lakes and climb to the Gokyo Ri peak, from where you have these views that ... (define them yourself 😱)

The current situation makes obvious, how big our impact to nature is. The sky’s over China are clear, the water in Venice full of fish. I been privileged to travel to a bunch amazing countries in the past and I’m thankful for all the experiences I made. This trip to Nepal motivated me to learn more about alpinism and climbing as of photography. And I will travel for sure, but since a while I try to use the plane as less as possible. So my message is, to travel responsible. Stop short trips for three days, it doesn’t make sense, you won’t learn something about another country, their culture, their lifestyle. So my message is, Travel responsible. And whenever possible, explore your local surroundings, I’m pretty sure lots of you haven’t seen that much in the country you’re living in.

Despite being the 3rd highest mountain on earth and only 25 meters (82 feet) shorter than K2, most people don't realize how difficult Kanchenjunga is. The traditional high camp (seen here) is at 7400m (24,278 ft) which is very low for a mountain so high- meaning summit day requires climbing 1200m to get to the top- okay if you're on bottled oxygen but VERY long without it. I made many mistakes on this climb, not just by setting my Camp 4 here,, but also by spending 5 nights at Camp 3 (7000m) on this push- meaning I shot this video on my 7th consecutive day above base camp- also unwise for climbing without O2. I was originally planning to go down after the 4 nights at Camp 3, but at the last minute decided to try for the summit along with this group to save some energy. Rule #1 at altitude: stick to your own plan and don't be influenced by others. - 📹
