A nice meeting with this ruff this weekend. An interesting birds with different looks!

Two arctic foxes at Svalbard, one white and the other dark brown.
The brown one is dark all year, both summer and winter. This dark one, which we call blue fox (blårev), is more rare at Svalbard, with only 2-3 % of all arctic foxes at Svalbard. We were lucky to see the dark one, and both of these two playing together.
After waiting for hours, and watching the dark one far up in the mountain, it started to descend from the mountain, and the white one right after. Then everything happened fast. In a few minutes they came to our level, chasing each other, passing us and then disappeared again. What an amazing experience of the wildlife at Svalbard!
