My autostereoscopic LVT/Filmwriter is also getting a major upgrade this year: color exposure capability in addition to its current black-and-white workflow.
On the software side, a few improvements will be needed since color exposures will be made in three separate passes. I'll also need to calibrate the contrast curves for each channel to achieve accurate color reproduction.
Mechanically, though, I already have a solid plan. The design is inspired by the old Agfa Procolor film writers, using an RGB filter wheel to expose each color channel in sequence.
I'm looking forward to bringing this machine into the color era.
