Sometime in November me and my friend Tomáš decided to go visit Israel. We are still students, so we had just one week after our exams. We flew from Wroclaw straight to Tel-Aviv. From Tel-Aviv we went to Jerusalem for 2 and half days. We have visited the most famous places, like Western Wall, Olive Mt and dozens more... We also went to Bethlehem and Mar Saba church which are in Palestine. After Jerusalem had a one day to get to Eilat and we had a few stops along the way. So we took a bus to Masada fortress, which is located near Dead Sea. Then we moved to Ein Bokek because we could not miss a bath in Dead Sea (it is pretty weird, you feel like a sponge on the surface). After our quick bath, because the water was pretty cold, we caught a last bus to Eilat and traveled 3 more hours. The next day we borrowed a car and went to Timna NP and Red Canyon. Timna NP is location with the oldest copper mines in the world. It is dating back to ancient Egypt. It is a beautiful place in desert with beautiful landscape. After TImna we went to Red Canyon, which is a small but beautiful canyon near borders with Egypt. The next day my dream came true and I went to a sunrise dive with dolphins... Can't describe it with words... After my dive we took our bags and went to the edge of Eilat and tried to hitchhike back to Tel-Aviv, it was about 330km. It took about 45min and some guy stopped us and gave us a lift... Easy peasy! So after that we spent one day in Tel-Aviv, which was nice, but nothing really special, and flew back home...
So, to sum it up... Israel is a beautiful country, with great and kind people (mostly) and beautiful, one of a kind nature... So what will be the next trip Tomáš? :)
