New blog post up — western Norway in May.
I took the Geirangerfjord boat cruise with my family, then they dropped me off at Skagehola while the boat continued. I hiked up to Skagefla — an abandoned farm at 250 meters — then up over the ridge and back down into Geiranger. About 8 kilometers and just under four hours. By the end of the descent my knees were done.
Also have photographs from Lovatnet at sunset and Breng Seter above the valley. Late May is the best time I've seen for this region — all seven streams of the Seven Sisters were running and the light goes past midnight.
