Step into a cathedral of unraveling sound.

“Velvet Crypt of Sound” is a descent through musical memory—where embers of forgotten timbres still glow, where carillons lie fractured in mist, and where every resonance fades into exquisite ruin. This piece explores the slow collapse of harmony, the erosion of instruments once sacred, and the faint luminescence that survives even in the deepest hush.

Written as a metaphysical requiem, it blends imagery of decaying acoustics, spectral orchestras, and the quiet persistence of spirit beneath layers of dust, verdigris, and time. If you’re drawn to dark ambient atmospheres, poetic storytelling, or music that feels like wandering through an abandoned cathedral, this is for you.

Themes:
• sonic decay and entropy
• spectral orchestration
• memory, loss, and fragile renewal
• the beauty of ruin

If the piece resonates, feel free to share your interpretation or the images it conjured for you. Every listener hears a different echo.

The text describes a formal masquerade ball as a symbol of social coercion and outdated traditions. The participants break out of inherited choreography and rigid expectations. By discarding their borrowed clothes, they find their own rhythm and freedom outside the watchful eye of society.

The north remembers…
What we took.
What we spent.
And in the cold between the storms,
it murmurs the old accounts
we thought the land forgot.

OUROBOROS: A Progressive Rock Trilogy

Part I: The Architect's Vertigo → The Question
Part II: Between the Syllables → The Exploration
Part III: The Skin's Translation → The Acceptance

A 18+ minute progressive rock epic exploring consciousness, reality, and the spaces between certainty and doubt.

PART I: THE ARCHITECT'S VERTIGO
The architect questions everything: Am I the designer or the design? Is fragrance real or just code? Even fear itself becomes suspect. The mirror never sees its own glass, but proof lives in the distortion. Doubt becomes furniture, not a crowbar—the framework that holds us through time.

PART II: BETWEEN THE SYLLABLES
Language creates the rooms we inhabit, but where do we go between spoken words? Can the cartographer describe terrain he never walked? A bird in a vacuum—free from resistance or trapped in stagnation? Zero, once described, ceases to be nonexistent. The question itself creates reality. Who holds the pencil: the writer, the reader, or simply the movement?

PART III: THE SKIN'S TRANSLATION
The blueprints are folded. The Architect sleeps. Put your hand on my chest—feel the tectonic pull. The ache doesn't care about the frame; the fire is hot by any other name. The real and the rendered are just waves crashing together. The mirror is cracked, but light gets through. The map is a lie, but the journey was true. These words aren't answers—just the skin we wear, the place where things exist.

Influences: Marillion's epic scope, Pink Floyd's emotional architecture, Genesis' theatrical complexity, Yes' lyrical ambition.
For fans of: 15+ minute compositions, philosophical lyrics, extended instrumental passages, songs that refuse easy answers.

The Ouroboros swallows its tail and keeps its shape. Beginning and end, simultaneous. Until observation collapses all the possibilities.

Not everyone's cup of tea ... I know.

Another one updated from the 90's - the original was about Rwanda.

But the tragedy?
We haven't changed in 30 years. 😟

Another old one from 1993, remodelled. This one doesn’t translate very well into English. In Norway we have an idiom, “to paint the Devil on the wall,” meaning someone who pessimistically predicts doom and gloom.

In the cartoon, the Devil is asking: “Who in Hell asked him to paint the Devil on the wall?”

Which one do you like best, version I or II?
